Forced Marriage Consultation (deadline 15 October 2008)
An opportunity to comment on draft guidance setting out the responsibilities of all agencies dealing with forced marriage issues. The consultation of the launch happens to coincide with legislative changes this month, which raise the age that a person can apply for a marriage visa from 18 to 21 in an attempt to crack down on forced marriages.
