Extraordinary Women Conference sponsored by BPW Midlands

NOMINATIONS FOR THE EXTRAORDINARY PERSONAL ENDEAVOUR AWARD

BPW Midlands will be sponsoring the 2010 Extraordinary Women Conference 2010 and in particular will be sponsoring the award for Extraordinary Personal Endeavour 2010. The conference will donate all surplus monies to their chosen charity the name of which will be communicated when the decision has been taken by the organising team.

Anyone can nominate a woman for the Extraordinary Personal Endeavour by writing up to 250 words for each nomination and send to www.extraordinarywomenuk.com. Anyone who does not have on line facility , please send your nomination (in a sealed envelope) and 250 words on why you think this woman should be nominated for the Extraordinary Personal Endeavour award and send to Vicki Espin, Extraordinary Women Conference, Stragglethorpe Manor, Stragglethorpe, Nottingham NG12 3HB.

Nominations to be received until 19 February 2010 which is the closing date and judging will be completed by 19 March 2010.

BPW will present the award to our category winner at the conference on 18 May 2010 and will speak about the BPW organisation, why we are sponsoring the conference and specifically our chosen category and each of the two finalists.

Extraordinary Women Conference sponsored by BPW Midlands

NOMINATIONS FOR SIX AWARDS

BPW Midlands will be sponsoring the 2010 Extraordinary Women Conference 2010 and in particular will be sponsoring the award for Extraordinary Personal Endeavour 2010. The conference will donate all surplus monies to the NSPCC charity. The decision to sponsor this conference which will be attended by women from all over the UK is to try and stimulate interest in BPW and to encourage membership of BPW.

There are six categories for BPW members to nominate not only a BPW member but a colleague or friend whom they feel deserves the award and these are:

  • Extraordinary Personal Contribution 2010
    This award is for women who give their time and energy for the benefit of others and without financial reward
  • Extraordinary Entrepreneurship 2010
    This award is for women who have built their own successful business from scratch
  • Extraordinary Achievement in an Organisation 2010
    This award is for women who have moved from the bottom to the top in an established organisation
  • Extraordinary Young Woman 2010
    This award is for young women aged 16 – 18 who are already extraordinary in any of the above categories

They will also be awarding Extraordinary Woman of the Year 2010 to one of the five award winners
