Capita’s 7th Conference - Tackling the Trafficking of Women and Children

With the planned ratification of the European Council Convention on Action Against Trafficking for 2008 and a commitment from Government to tackle the problem. The time is right to bring together good practice from all sides to ensure real progress is made.
A joined up approach involving the police, UK Borders Agency, local authorities, victim support groups and housing providers is essential to ensure perpetrators can be detected and victims supported. Capita’s 7th Annual Trafficking conference will address this and other emerging key issues, including:

• The practical implications of the ECCAAT for service providers
• How the police are responding to child trafficking
• Providing housing and services for victims of trafficking
