My name is Eunmee Hwang, new chairperson of Business, Trade & Technology Committee of
BPW Int ' l since January 2008. I was a chairperson of Organizing Committee for 2007 Young BPW
International which was held in Seoul, Korea.
One of the role and responsibility of our committee is to arrange 2008 E-Biz Training and Digital
Economy Forum for BPW members. The E-Biz Training and Digital Economy Forum, which is
provided by Asia Pacific Women ' s Information Network Center (APWINC) of Sookmyung Women ' s
University in Korea, helped women entrepreneurs and policy makers of APEC countries to build
knowledge, skills and capacity relating to e-business and to create new business opportunities
through networking for the past three years. As BPW International is a partner of the APWINC,
over 60 BPW members got funding support to participate in the e-biz training since 2005.
