“If ‘I’ Can Make a Difference Then So Can ‘We’!!”
The award winning ‘If I Can…You Can’ programme, aimed at raising aspirations and tackling stereotyping, gave birth to a ‘hybrid’ recently!
Funded by the Learning and Skills Council North East, Equality North East developed and delivered ‘If We Can…You Can’ to an audience of Head Teachers, Teachers, Connexions staff and those in a position to influence career decisions made by young people. The programme helped to bust some myths and build capacity to help young people overcome the barriers caused by stereotyping.
The outcome?
“More of the same please, it was brilliant!”
