Rona Cant
Iuse experiences from my very diverse adventures of racing yachts the wrong way round the world or dog-sledding to the northernmost tip of Europe to create ‘can do™’ cultures in organisations that their competitors don’t have. My talks on leadership, teamwork and overcoming obstacles and challenges are based on stories of those adventures and are thought provoking whilst getting across the business messages making them very memorable and meaningful.

As you can imagine changing my life from being an unexceptional single mother to become, later in life, an adventurer and business developer is beset by obstacles and challenges. I now use experiences from all my expeditions to help organisations and individuals overcome their own obstacles and challenges to reach their potential.

The talks draw on the powerful and motivational parallels that exist between people facing the rigours of a round-the-world yacht race or an Arctic expedition and, at the other extreme, human behaviour in the workplace. These messages relate to team dynamics, effective leadership and human behaviours as well as motivation of self and others and reinforce some key business principles that are unusual and easily remembered. I also provide soft-skills workshops.

My website at www.ronacant.com tells you more about these talks and the various adventures I have done together with what other people say about them.
